Hyeon Eum, known as The Black Dragon King, was the leader of the Black Dragon Race and a major antagonist allied with Seo Hweol. His arrogance and power were ultimately his undoing, as he was captured by the Mad Lord and refined into a puppet.

Overview

Hyeon Eum was the proud leader of the Black Dragon Race. He supported Seo Hweol's schemes but met a grim fate at the hands of the Mad Lord, who turned him into a puppet.

He appears to possess knowledge beyond his station. In the 14th cycle, he urgently pursued the Wonderfully Mysterious Fortress controlled by Kim Yeon, claiming to sense the presence of Immortal Arts (仙術). This was later revealed to be a trap laid by the Mad Lord.

He is also connected to the Blood Yin Realm, possessing the ability to fuse with the Blood Yin Esteemed One, a desperate measure he attempted when cornered by Cheongmun Sunwoo.
