The Golden Lightning Banner (or Heavenly Lightning Banner) is an Immortal
Treasure,
subordinate of the Owner of Heavenly Punishment. Later on in history, Golden Lightning Banner
was stolen from her owner by Yang Su-Jin. He used her as the main artifact of his sect, Golden
Divine Heavenly Thunder sect. It is learned later that its true name is Zhengli
(Political Motivation).
Overview
Zhengli is the Heavenly Punishment Supporting Envoy. While appearing as a banner, she can take human form.
History
- Stolen from the Governing Immortal [Owner of Heavenly Punishment] by Yang Su-Jin.
- Used as one of a dozen Immortal Artifacts during his lifetime.
- When founding the Golden Divine Heavenly Thunder Sect it was used as one of the main treasures.
- Sealed before Yang Su-Jin's death with at least 3 restrictions and put in the Head Realm.
- Ascended to the Bright Cold Realm with Jin Buk-ho and the rest of the Golden Divine Heavenly Thunder Sect.
- Taken from Do Gon after his death by Jeon Myeong-hoon.
Abilities
- The ability to prevent Heavenly Punishments in advance.
- Was able to control the brains of others through electrokinesis, specifically inflicting pleasure, or lust/obsession.
- Could exchange intangible things like pleasure for authority.
Trivia
- Instead of being made of a physical substance, it is made of pure lightning.
- To anyone who has not practiced lightning cultivation methods, it is both intangible and invisible.
- Zhengli is the only character in the entire novel whose jade white feet were extensively described in narration, besides Golden Shaking Bird. In QnA 5, Tremendous admitted to have awakened something for feet.
- Zhengli is the only character shown to canonically edge Jeon Myeong-hoon.
