Qi Building

Description

After reaching Qi Building, spiritual energy becomes incredibly pure along the activated spiritual pathways. This is pure Spiritual Force. It is created by removing impurities and compressing existing spiritual energy dozens of times.

They also have a protective layer of Pure Spiritual Force. They do not die unless the head, heart or gut is destroyed, or they are exsanguinated.

Ascension

Ascending to the Qi Building stage involves condensing the spiritual cloud into a single spiritual star. The spiritual energy must be condensed into the form of a star to truly ascend to the Qi Building stage. The cloud is rotated faster and faster, and made to fuse into a single point in the dantain. This forms a star in the Dantain. This star marks the ascension to Qi Building.

Substages

Heaven Path

Unlike Qi Refining, where each sub-stage is called a "Star", they are called Constellations in Qi Building. Upon reaching Qi Building, the cultivator's lifespan increases by 300 Years. There are only 4 stages in Qi Building:

• 1st Constellation: Horn, Neck, Root, Room, Heart, Tail, Winnowing Basket.
• 2nd Constellation: Ladle, Ox, Girl, Emptiness, Rooftop, Chamber, Wall.
• 3rd Constellation: Legs, Bond, Stomach, Hairy Head, Net, Beak, Triple Stars.
• 4th Constellation: Well, Ghost, Willow, Star, Extended Net, Wing, Chariot.

They are called by these names. They corresponds to the twenty-eight stars existing in every Astral Realm. Qi Building cultivators start from the Spiritual Energy Star corresponding to the 1st Constellation and go up to the 28th Spiritual Energy Star corresponding to the 4th Constellation. Creating all twenty-eight Spiritual Energy Stars in the Dantian signifies reaching the Grand Perfection of Qi Building.

Earth Path

At the Qi Building stage, one's life force is linked with the Demon Core to circulate the Taiji more intensely before colliding and exploding it.

Vitality

A Qi Building cultivator increases their lifespan to 300 years.

Qi Building cultivators and above can survive for days even if several organs are torn due to the flow of Pure Spiritual Force in their meridians, and can regenerate if well-rested for a few months. However, Qi Building cultivators die if their neck is cut.

Trivia

The Seven Stars Ritual performed during the Qi Refining phase is of great help in Qi Building. The Seven Stars Ritual involved receiving heaven and earth spiritual blessings by borrowing the names of seven out of the twenty-eight constellation stars. Depending on the type of constellation chosen at that time, it can either assist in the practice of the 1st Constellation, 2nd Constellation, 3rd Constellation, or the 4th Constellation.
