Overview
In the 18th Cycle, Yuan Yu's body ascended into the Black Ghost Valley. Seo Eun-hyun used him as his second body using The Mysterious Bizarre Gu. He eventually named himself Seo Li when asked for his name.
Throughout the 18th Cycle, Seo Li's point of view was established more than Seo Eun-hyun's, eventually leading into the twist that Seo Hweol was controlling Seo Eun-hyun.
Appearance
Seo Li is said to be extremely beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, that sometimes he is mistaken to be a woman. To hide his face, Seo Li used the devilish energy of the Blood Demon Suppressing Sea Light to cover his face, and a black fog-like mask covered his face.
Personality
His personality is like Seo Eun-hyun's; a person of character who avoids unethical acts of sacrificing others for selfish reasons and someone with an incredible willpower and mental fortitude.
However, the difference between them is the time they spent after being separated. Seo Li stayed with The Black Ghost Valley and Kang Min-hee, eventually falling in love with her. However, Seo Eun-hyun did not have any sort of feelings towards her past the point of her being his ex-girlfriend. Occasionally, Li also curses Seo Eun-hyun for putting stress on him.

- Seo Li is Seo Rip in the raws which is a reference to Yuan Li.
- Seo Li used the application technique of his Manifestation, Spring Before Flowers Fall (花落以前春), while conveying his feelings onto Kang Min-hee. His actions led to Min-hee keeping her sanity for a moment even after becoming the Ghost Guiding Holy Mother. However, she still swung her arm at them which led to Seo Li's Death.
- It only took Seo Li 300 Years to reach Four Axis (사축/四軸).
